Filling in a UCAS form

Whenever you are filling in a UCAS form, always ensure that you complete each section thoroughly. It goes without saying that you must enter all the qualifications you have achieved in your lifetime. This will then make it easier for the academics to assess your application.
Always try and complete your application fully and submit it as early as possible. The closing deadline for 2012 applications is 15 January. Submitting applications after this date will mean that it is a late application.
When making a UCAS application, always try and make sure you apply for one course, and not two different courses with one university (this is especially important for main cycle applicants). Applying for one particular course, shows dedication and genuine interest for that course and it will seem that you are more likely to commit to that course, instead of applying to the same university for two or three different courses. You will find it much easier and simpler to complete your personal statement when applying for just one course, as you can justify the reasons and interests you have for that particular course.
Finally, always make sure that you submit a reference with your application form. Your referee has to be someone you know on a professional basis,  e.g. personal tutor, class teacher or even your GP/doctor.
